Day Support Worker (Maternity Cover)
Location: Heathy House, Halifax, West Yorkshire
Hourly Rate: £13.45 per hour, with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 8am to 8pm on a two-week rolling rota

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Active Pathways Ltd is currently recruiting for a compassionate DaySupport Worker to join the dedicated team at Heathy House in Halifax, West Yorkshire on a fixed-term basis for 9-months (with a view to extending to 12-months) covering maternity leave.This is an exceptional opportunity to work as an integral part of the team, ensuring the individuals we support can live as independently as possible.

Our Ideal Support Worker Will:

  • Have knowledge and understanding of Mental Health diagnoses, Learning Disabilities, and/or Autism.
  • Appreciate the importance of person-centred care and promoting independence.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.

Desired Experience:

  • Engaging with individuals and assisting with activities of daily living, social, recreational, and occupational activities, including supporting young people in the community.
  • Working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Promoting positive practices in Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Mental Capacity within the service.
