Mental Health Support Worker (Days)

Day Support Worker 
Location: Millcroft, Seacroft, Leeds 
Salary: £13.45 per hour + Overtime (£14.95 per hour)
Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 7:45am - 7:45pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Active Pathways is delighted to be recruiting for a passionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our dedicated residential service, Millcroft, in Seacroft, Leeds.Millcroft provides a safe and supportive home for men with enduring mental health needs, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care.

As a Support Worker, you will: 

• Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a residential setting.
• Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
• Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
• Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
• Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
• Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.

Experience Required:

• Experience within a Mental Health or Residental setting
• Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team
• Understanding the importance of offering person-centered quality care
