Mental Health Rehabilitation – Brookhaven & The Hamptons
Bamber Bridge, Preston
£13.45 per hour / £26,926 per year
7:45am – 7:45pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Active Pathways is recruiting a passionate person-centred male mental health support worker! This is an exceptional for an experienced mental health professional to play a vital role in supporting individuals with enduring complex mental health needs to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

As a Support Worker, you will: 

• Provide person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
• Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
• Support residents with meaningful daily activities and community engagement.
• Assist with emotional, social, and practical needs.
• Work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent support.
• Promote independence, self-confidence, and relapse prevention strategies.
• Encourage and support access to education, employment, and leisure opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 12-months care experience 
• Experience in a mental health or rehabilitation setting
• EExperience of supporting individuals living under a legal framework
• Confidence in building rapport with residents and the wider team.
• A strong understanding of person-centred, quality care.
• A positive, supportive approach with a focus on recovery and inclusion.

Brookhaven is a 23-bed mixed-gender open rehabilitation service for adults aged 18+, offering recovery-focused care and support for enduring mental health needs. Next door, The Hamptons is a 14-bed purpose-built inpatient rehabilitation hospital supporting men with complex mental health needs in a secure, structured environment.
